Cherry
Almond Crumble
This is an amazing recipe that we discovered while watching
an episode of The Pioneer Woman on Food Network. This has become one of our
absolute Favorite desserts. It is so simple, but taste like you spent all day
preparing it. The combination of the Cherry, and Almond together with the
golden buttery crisp topping is just mouthwatering, and out of this world.

Step 1:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
To make the crumb topping combine the flour, both sugars,
rolled oats, almonds, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt into a bowl. Then with a
pastry cutter, cut in one and a half sticks of cold butter until it’s all
combined and looks like loose crumbs.
Step 2:
For the cherries, pour the 12oz bag of frozen cherries into
a bowl, sprinkle in the corn starch, sugar, and almond extract. Gently mix with
a spoon until the cherries are nicely coated. Try not to crush the cherries.
Step 3:
Spoon the cherry mixture into 4 individual size ramekins,
and then top each one with the crumb topping.
Step 4:
Bake Cherry almond crisp for 45 minutes.
Step 5: Top crisp with your favorite vanilla Ice Cream, and
serve hot.
